| I think that we hear about workplace dishonesty more because of the internet and media coverage. When I first started back in the 80's I investigated the same amount of internal theft as I do now even with the better detection programs we have. I think that we hear about it in greater detail because companies are more apt to prosecute the offenders and the media writes about it and people have the ability to put things on uTube and web blogs. We are an information driven society. Big Borther is always watching and reporting. |
